#1 Trust the Lord as Your Provider.
Worry is the result of living as if it all depends upon you. That kind of excessive anxiety is more akin to living as if there is no God (atheism) than true faith in Christ. “Your attitude toward money actually reveals your attitude toward God Himself.” (Derek Prince, God’s Plan for Your Money)
- “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” (Matthew 6:33 NLT)

#2 Ask the Lord for His Help.
- “You do not have, because you do not ask God.” (James 4:2 NIV)
- “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7 NIV)
- “You may say to yourself, ‘My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.’ But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today.” (Deuteronomy 8:17-18 NIV)
#3 Honor the Lord with Your Wealth.

Tell your money where to go! “Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity.” (Proverbs 21:5 NLT) Do you have a spending plan? Have you set financial goals? Do you have a workable budget? You need to grasp what you OWN, what you OWE, what you EARN, and where it GOES. “Riches can disappear fast . . . so watch your business interests closely.” (Proverbs 27:23 Living) Are you wisely managing your time, talent, and treasure?
